On Sunday I went to Toys’R’Us with my son (h e’s 5) to pick up a Lego Christmas countdown calendar. While we were there he informed me that he was getting me the Ferrari F8 model. I was like ‘awesome. I’ve wanted that for a little while, but what about the GTR up there.’
“No, you need this one.”
Me: “Ok.”
Him: “And I’m getting this one.” Then he set the McLaren Senna on top of the Ferrari. “And Mommy is getting this one (The Audi model).
Me: “Oh, I don’t think we can buy all those today. We probably have to choose just one for us to build on Tuesday since you don’t have school.”
We didn’t get Mommy’s, or mine. We got his. Which turned out pretty cool.
Those stickers are a PITA though.
And he didn’t make it all the way through the build. He did make it through building the fan and about 2/3 of the way for the chassis though. I was impressed with how long he stuck with putting parts together. Then daddy was all on his own for the rest of it.
Now I really want that F8 for myself though.

Spent many hours blasting around Lego Britain in a Lego Senna on FH4.

Nice! My daughters actually got me that set for Christmas last year. Yeah, the stickers are a PITA.
I recently built a rich guy garage. The Senna is parked with an F40 and a Shell-B Cobra.

Nice; we’ve had the senna for a bit and I recently tore it down to try rebuilding it slightly different(was going for more of a FR layout look). The Ferrari is now my daughters favorite but mostly just because it has two seats and playing with the characters is one of her favorite parts of legos.

I didn’t notice it in your post about that. I like the way it is hidden away.
